btw, I think all moderators who inactive on site 2+ months should be deleted from all games. Especially who inactive 1 year or more...
@MelonSlice wounds = runs (russian "раны" - wounds) LuL :D
I think starting timer on "Push start button" much easier and more precisely.
And here is Red Alerts RNG, research by Koh1Dendy in 2018 [RU].

Ok, tomorrow I will add a subcategory for GBA, until this game will be added to speedrun.com separately or someone finish a run with this glitch on NES. But in my opinion more correct will be create subcategories for glitchless and any%, because @inari80000 has a glitchless run in 35:01 :) But ok, GBA is GBA.
Ok, I will not delete anything, but what should I do with GBA? Maybe create a new subcategorie? But in my humble opinion GBA is absolutely identical to NES so I can't see any reasons for this. It's really headache. And it's happened right at that moment when I became a moder. Lucky :)
Ok, I think we must delete all runs @Serima and @evad999 too, because it's not NES. My apologies to these people and @inari80000, I hope you will be back with NES speedruns. I delete other platforms and these few runs on May 12th. Like I said we need more opinions in this matter. For example how can I check new runs with this glitch in future, if all these versions visually identical? Take on trust? :)
I think this glitch is quite feasible on NES, but maybe is better remove all platforms except NES, because the game is called Dr. Mario (NES). Although all these versions (WiiVC, GBA, 3DSVC, WiiUVC) are so similar that I can not even make a difference between them. @inari80000 also has beat WR Glitchless in 35:01, so we have a few options:
- Remove all platforms except NES.
- Remove WR with glitch.
- Do not change anything.
Maybe it's worth making a vote or waiting for more other opinions here, but at this moment I don't know what to do :( Let's wait week for a more correct solution.
@Bokoblins I think Dr. Mario doesn't have own discord server, but we are talking about NES games in this discord: https://discord.gg/TWBkkb7 . I wrote about current situation in general topic there (4/20/2018) and I wrote personal message to @NESCardinality (he even responded me something like "Where did he go?" about last active mod marth.sk and that's all. I was wrote PM to @NESCardinality 2 weeks ago and nothing changes... Nobody cares, so game is dead :)
https://www.speedrun.com/drmariones - this game already 3 weeks without active moders. Last good moder marth.sk is gone, SeanCass offline 2 months, NESCardinality doesn't check the runs :( Please add me or someone else as a moderators. Thanks :)
Drakodan, we streaming many retro games on NES and our game on twitch is always "Retro", so these streams never happen in this section on site. For example I regularly speedrunning 4-5 games in one stream.
Who cares about WR history? LOL. We check this site only to see a new runs in favourite games. I go into the game only if I see some new runs on the main page. And I want to see them on the main page operatively. That's all :)
I completely agree with @Koh1fds. Sometimes you have to wait two weeks until they check the run, for example in the game Captain America and The Avengers (NES). I have to edit the run every day and move the date a day ahead so people see the new speedrun in time. In many games, moderators are very negligent and lazy. I moderate two games and every day I dream to see some new runs, which I check in within an hour. When moderators have a personal life or more important things, these people are generally unworthy to check the runs and they should be replaced by more active ones. Or we should change the priority of playing on the date of verification. People should see new speedruns promptly, not a week later at the very end of the newsline (it means never)
