Well that's fair. But a Full 1-50, 1-60, and 1-70 MSQ run would run into the same issues. Would also have problems with queues for different classes for the various dungeons and trials that need to be run. But that's neither here nor there. What you could do for load times though is just subtract load times from the actual run time. Not sure there is a way to do it automatically, but if load times are removed, it should make it more competitive for older computers and people with slower internet.
I mean to be fair, yeah it adds a lot of extra time because you can't skip the cutscenes, but because no one can skip them it's still an even playing field.
Hi,
Kind of new here, but I had this idea and was wondering if we could get it added.
Basically it's a new character run through the 1st part of the MSQ until you board the airship for the 1st time. Rules would be simple. Time starts as soon as you have control of your character, time ends when you board the airship for the 1st time and the cutscene starts to play. And by 1st time, I mean the very 1st time, where you get the extended take off of the airship cutscene and everyone runs out of the platform to wave and watch you leave and then it cuts to the garleans and Nero killing that one guy.
Not sure what you'd call that category though. "New Character Airship Run" maybe.
