Ok Guys Thank you for trying to help me (Sorry for my Bad englisch from German)

So Ill started Speedrunning SM64 at the Project 64 with the Japanise Edition and reached 24 Mins (16 Starts). Now ill bought a really cheep Nintendo 64 EUR with Mario 64. My Problem is the Game is really slow and kinda laggy, I heard about the Ntsc Edtion froM SM64 is it the Speedrun? do i have the Japanise N64 to play the Ntsc Edition?
