Or a seperate category for 4-Player any%?
Would this be a potential future category?
Damn dude! That’s a lot more of a time save then I would have expected honestly. Now I just have to good enough at the game to get a competitive time lol
Looking forward to seeing how much time it saves over a full run, GL
Found two very similiar time saving tricks while doing some runs.
-
By quitting out to the main menu and re-entering Adventure Mode after dealing the last blow to En Garde, you skip the dialogue and cutscenes between tutorial and 1-1, and for some reason, 1-1’s first enemy (The Cat) will have 0 hearts and be OHKO’d by any word.

By doing this same quitting and re-entering trick before and after every boss fight, you skip the several second cutscene introducing the boss, as well as any cutscenes afterwards and the cutscene of receiving the new treasure. You only save a few seconds here and there, but over the course of an entire run that could add up to several minutes of time saves by skipping dialogue.
And I'll be re-uploading the run in the SUper Bowl with Patriots category
Input my time wrong so I still showed as second place
If you’d like another person to moderate this game I’m willing to. I’ll likely be submitting some runs tomorrow also.
Also we have to submit one of runs to the site, so no worries about runs having broken the rules already
We do record our whole room, but it’s not an issue. We’ll start doing just two people, I was just curious how that would work since it’s not mentioned in the rules of the run. Thanks!
When running a Co-Op category (specifically any%) is it permittable to have three people rotating control? Or must the same two be controlling at all times?
Sorry if my inexperience speedrunning is showing here, but what do you mean by when am I splitting? Like, what’s my time there? Or when am I hitting the button to go onto the next split?
This is mostly aimed toward IlluminaTea, since they're currently the only one with a run submitted here, but how are you getting such a good time on the 1-7 boss? That 1:43 segment is much, much faster than anything I've been able to do. Is there a specific trick to it, or am I just not very good?
Are runs of this game using an emulator valid? If so, which emulators are allowed to be used?
