there probably is a way to do it more consistently that we just don't know yet

i found a very inconsistent way to skip a level on the game, by clicking the ok button when you finish a level at the same time you click another button that affects the numbers the level that you just beat will repeat and when you beat the level the next level will not be appear depending on the level skipped you can save a lot of time. my question is: is it allowed? video demonstration:

if you press "clear" after beating the level and after clicking on the menu button it will work pretty much aways
