Thanks man, I've actually picked up PICO-8, feel quite comfortable with it, quite a good fantasy console
Thanks guys, been looking for some books for ages, found quite a few but nothing incredibly useful
Thanks, but BASIC has always been my goal, I know a little bit of Python though, I'm more into the retro languages like BASIC and Assembler
Ok, thanks for the advice !, new to the world of running and it's a bit frustrating when your runs don't make the cut
Thanks,
Joe
New here, but just thought I'd ask, any programmers here? I'm a novice don't really know any languages properly, just mess about from time to time, currently starting to learn basic on the C64
Hi all,
I'm new to speedrunning and speedrun.com but I'm not to Excitebike, thought this would be the best place to ask, I can't qualify for Track 3-4 for the life of me, let alone 5, I can occasionally qualify Track 3 but only by about two seconds, my question is this, does anybody have some tips on how to shave a couple seconds off my time?
Look forward to getting to know you all in the future,
Best regards,
Joe
Hi all,
I've known about speedrunning for a while now and whilst my broadband was down I found a bit about this site in the Guinness World Records Gamers Edition, I've thrown so many hours into Excitebike (Not just for speedrunning) and literally can't qualify for the life of me, thinking about moving on to Super Mario Kart for the SNES, before I do though could I possibly have some game suggestions for an avid retro gamer, I'm open to everything but must be on the Commodore 64, NES, SNES or the PS1 (as those are my only retro systems at this time)
Regards,
Joe
