My 4:02 IL WR for Showdown at Big Honshu in Battalion Wars 2. Previous record was 4:25, I'd been consistently getting 4:26, then suddenly I got that. It was complete luck that got me that, and I can't say I'll ever be able to reproduce it.
I picked something random that sounded cool.
The 100% category is pretty tough though.
^ Loads are removed so everyone's on a level playing field. Why should people with top-end machines be given an automatic advantage?
I notice that the Switch isn't listed as a system. Is it banned for some reason, or is it just an oversight? I don't see any mention of it.
The 2 Battalion Wars games could do with some love, I'm the only active runner. Also, individual level runs are more popular than full game, so it's quick to learn.
The title is because I speak 3 languages.
Been following some speedruns for a while, and kept thinking I should have a go, so last week I starting doing single level runs of Battalion Wars and Battalion Wars 2. I intend to do a full Any% of the sequel at some point, once I've practiced the levels enough, and then move onto some other series, like Jak and Daxter or Assassin's Creed.
