Supporter(I know this is four years late) The problem is that I just don't think it's impactful enough for a full run. The only difference is stomping and kicking one koopa shell.
I actually don't like Pacifist itself either because all you have to do is avoid one goomba at the start of 1-1, it's just any% but with less people. However, I can't get rid of it as I kinda don't want to nullify the records already set there.
Like what the other guy said, PIGOAP Warpless would be fun to try. There are a lot of RNG elements you’ve gotta deal with though since managing pace consistently is surprisingly difficult, but that’s what would make the category interesting, at least. So much more than like half the categories out there.
Funny enough I did the same thing by accident but I realized and fixed it before the mods checked.
Sorry I couldn't get to you sooner, if you have the OG smb1 rom and the .ips patch for Petscop !!, you can use Rom Patcher JS (https://www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/). Very easy to use. Not sure exactly what you're doing otherwise.
