United Statesyes, you can just use do_reset to reset a coop run. it does the same thing as locking the maps and taunts.
to practice individual chambers in coop, you can use the "changelevel" command. you may be used to using the "map" command for singleplayer but that doesnt work in coop because it puts you in a new session.
you can run the command "map_list" to see a list of maps to change to. the one you want is the file name, not the map name. or if you cant remember the map by just the name you can also look at this page on the wiki https://wiki.portal2.sr/List_of_Co-op_maps which has the same list but with a picture to more easily identify them.
if you wanted to go to doors, you would run the command "changelevel mp_coop_doors". replace mp_coop_doors with whatever file name you want for other maps.
any trick you can do with 3 digit precision is also possible with viewsnap, runners have gravitated towards it because it is both faster and easier than lining up coordinates. viewsnaps mostly remove the need to display coordinates and coordinates mostly remove the need to viewsnap, we've decided to ban neither.
@ShuckleDurkins you can filter by console runs on the leaderboard if you want to see a console only leaderboard. viewsnap is historically unbannable because it is not possible to police sensitivity values; the mod team has tried before, people have and will always find work arounds to any kind of ban for it. just last week or so a new category was created to remove all developer console commands, including things such as cl_showpos and sar commands, on a seperate leaderboard. you can find it here: https://www.speedrun.com/Spplice_Mods?h=no-developer-console&x=824355ed
his username is mrracingronster, and yes he was being serious (although i believe it was mainly just for attention) and has since apologized for the way he acted in a video. in either case he absolutely does not have the means to sue anyone over what has happened on speedrun.com. (he spliced runs and then did some less than stellar things in response, which is why he is still banned even though its been 8 years) here's the apology if you want to see it:
it is very evident that he suffers from some combination of mental issues and is currently struggling in life. the videos he initially made are unlisted, if you know where to look you can still find them. (or i can link them directly if youre curious, just keep in mind he's disavowed what was said in them)

you can run that but it will not be added to the boards because there is likely going to be very few to no runners outside of you and your partner.
it is usually a good idea to run with a program like livesplit to get a more accurate idea of your pace throughout the run. it also makes retiming easier for mods (probably), although it is not required for submission.
plenty of people are interested in an il category, in fact some runners specialize in them specifically. the only difference is that op wants them to be tracked here on speedrun.com instead of https://board.portal2.sr/ which will not happen for various reasons.
an il category already exists on a different website. if you for some reason do not want to use it, then you are free to track your il times yourself. the mods will not transfer 13 years worth of cm times so they can use an inferior leaderboard system as it would be a waste of their time.
Yes, that is what the website i linked is. Challenge Mode is this game's IL mode. We track them on their own leaderboards.

If you want to run those categories in coop, theres nothing stopping you, but its very unlikely that they will be added to the boards since there's little interest in those categories to begin with. We just went through a "purge" of a lot of the less popular category extensions a little while ago, since they had little to no activity. TUS or NMG co-op would likely suffer from the same issues.
The closest thing youre going to get to that is The Ultimate Speedrun, which significantly alters movement. I dont believe new categories are being accepted on to the boards as of now.
