@Zarc0nis I have permission from the devs to share a modified version of the ROM to the racers of my cat themed speedrun event; the only difference is that it has my username on the title screen (to prevent/find leakers more easily). Next Mega Meow's Militia event will be held in September; DM me if you would like to attend!

I will even do Dizzy runs, if I have to... because sometimes, meme runs are necessary, lol!

I promise that: if hirexen puts all characters in Tiny Toons, I will do buster only runs, as I'm already used to them, from Mega Man games...! pew pew pew

Also, I want to add that while it would not be the most competitive category (because I do agree with junkyard_dave's statement about that, during our last race) this game also OFTEN wins the popularity votes (by viewers and runners alike) for each new list of games ran.

We ran this game 3 times already, so it would NOT be a dead category by any means... it would stay active.

FInally, we do this for CHARITY twice a year, so if the category became real, it would help legitimize what we are doing immensely...!

About the Genesis/Megadrive version of the game, which has the same name:

I just realized there are no leaderboards at all for the game... yet, it has totally different level layouts.

My question is: if someone ever submitted a run, would you create the category/leaderboards for it?!

I just completed my 1st run and others will follow my lead:

They will all compete in the upcoming 9 LIVES RACES I'm organizing on February 22nd 2024!

I will change the end timing; I think it should be when you lose control over the character...!

If only I didn't forget a bunch of stuff at the end (had to check an item guide, while the timer was still running).

Also, I realized (after doing the run) that I should've ran it with the JPN version (quicker Somulo fight and textboxes).
