Yeah, Wayback Machine doesn't load the game correctly either. I think I saw this game on Flashpoint's list of games though, you could try that.
What kind of browser or version were you playing?
Also I think with the despawn trick done quickly enough it could save 1-2 seconds
Wow, that sound great. I played most of the Fetch games as a kid, but only ran Germinator.
Really, why 3-4 minutes? The GE's in total take up 5 minutes. You still have to move to the end, right? It just saves a few seconds since the obstacles are gone all you need to dodge now is the soap.
I found you don't have to click on Loop. The despawn can happen with one right click.
- Click Play on the starting screen
- Click to skip the cutscene with Ruff
- Right click then click Play on the "Germinator - This time, it's infectious!" screen. The arrow keys and "Get to Trumpet's EYE!" will appear.
- Click Continue
- Click Play
- Nelson's spit will be despawned now
If you don't click continue, you can start playing but the screen will be covered up by the cutscene. You can finish the round though, and clicking continue then play will bring you to Nelson Bloodstream. If only timing started when you clicked the last play button!
I returned back to Any% and tried it out. Despawning Nelson's spit could save 1-2 seconds overall. So it's not much, but it's something. You have to be fast with the clicks at the beginning, and use time setting it up at the start, but since you barely need to move on Nelson Mouth now it saves some time.
That is interesting, I got it to work now. I tried it on I think Nelson's Lungs, and it despawned all of the cells and T-cells, but it didn't advance to the next round. I could move around with the background in the area the cells were, but there was no way to progress and no cells to break.
When I click play the second time, I hear the sounds of it, but don't get the gameplay. It didn't quite work for me. Do you think this can skip levels?
I used GIMP and just clicked with the paintbrush to make circles.
Also in February 2019 I worked on this Dump-It lungs map from screencaps in Photoshop but I didn't finish
So one of the most important things this game needs is a map or route of the lungs section. This thread should encourage that, post your hear if you make some.
Here is a rough sketch I made of Dump-It Lungs:
Here is a route you could use with it:
Hitting cells and the counter decreasing happen on the same frame anyway when I checked
Yeah my game (Battle For Dream Island Again 5b) has this issue too where we use RTA in one category then IGT for others. All you can do is make one of the timing fields empty for every run so they sort right.
Welcome! No Brakes is a mobile game you can speedrun, it has an in-game timer, too. My friend has a Discord for it, plus there is a mobile game speedrun marathon every once in a while. https://discord.gg/7jVNXhs
Under Settings then Video the fps has always been set to 60. But sometimes it records in 30 fps and I don't know why that is, can someone help?
I do that anyway during runs. Splits.io had a lot more stats, data, and comparisons.
❝Lol like, track and field runners don't call it speedrunning. They don't scream PogChamp when they get a PB lmao.❞ Eh they certainly are proud to get new personal records. Their popoffs get kind of stunted for medium and long distance running because they need to cool down and catch their breath, though.
No one's stopping you from poking every listed object in an I Spy book as fast as you can, it's just not a speedrunning record. Also once you memorize them I don't think it would be that interesting.
Also lots of game show timing with and without loads for PC runs since loading times can vary widely between different hardware. Autosplitters can be made for timers to automatically pause during loading.
splits.io isn't a timer though. There's not really an alternative on that page. I'd also like to see more stats from the splits, and their quarantine free trial for the premium service just ended.
