OK I was able to figure it out. The problem I was having with the clip was twofold- first I was clipping slightly into the adjacent guardsman, which was kicking me back out to where I started, and second I was using longer strafe keystrokes than were necessary.

Hey y'all. I was wondering if anyone has a write-up or tutorial on how to get the skip past the Ascalonian Guard at the start of the academy mission that ends pre-Searing. Shade_the makes it look easy but I couldn't get my character more than a few pixels into the gap.

I meant to post this months ago- here's my very slow run of Normal difficulty if anyone wants to see the additional levels that hasn't yet. (Arctic Base 5 boss fight ends around 1:16:34) I haven't been back to running it in a long while, but it'd be nice to see people enjoying the extra content this game has.

If the mods end up agreeing to split the boards- I have an any% normal difficulty run all ready to go to help populate the board.

Would y'all be willing to set the board up for difficulty categories? It looks like both current runs end at the first Arachnopod (the Easy ending), but the game continues past that to the High Ethereal fight in Normal.

After your character attacks you can disengage and re-engage to skip the turn wait order and attack earlier.
