I did consider it, however, because most people would probably be a high score thing, it didnt feel right to put any category of that here. I would recommend heading to Cyberscore which is another speedrunning site, but they also do highscores of certain games as well!

Had no idea something like this even existed! And honestly I really like this! Kinda gives me old school Cyberscore vibes (if you know what Cyberscore is). Glad to see the game up on the site! I would say though, I hope more gets added! That way everyone has a fighting chance at the top without having just to play Goldeneye. Otherwise, really cool!

I made Mario Golf into a series, however apparently that doesnt really give anyone mod permissions over that series. I also noticed when making the series request that apparently they (SRC) dont add moderators to series anymore? I find that weird considering now no one has control of changing any sort of settings like the Series picture. Right now its just a "?". Is there any way I could get the series moderator or is that just non existent now?

I have a Wii U with CFW and homebrew on it and I have the Wii U version of Retroarch so I can emulate GBA games. I wanted to know if playing the GBA version of this game on the Wii U is allowed for runs. From what I know, if both the rom and the game itself both run the same way, then its usually fine, however I need someones opinion

So I dont speed run any SMM or SMM2 categories but I tried something a little interesting. 2 years ago, I heard about a World by Mayro (name might sound familiar) of a recreation of SMB1 in SMM2. Played the world, loved it, but then I decided to speedrun it, turns out its actually a lot of fun. Now I know its a World, so a leaderboard cant really be made for it because people will just start requesting different worlds and everything, but I figured I would post this as a little challenge for anyone who wanted to attempt this. I know this post is 1 month old, but I should that emulator runs are allowed, they will be hidden from the leaderboards and can only be seen by changing the filter of the leaderboard

Can confirm that, My friend put in a request for a game over 4-5 months ago and it still hasnt been reviewed (mods take your time lol)

Has there been any considerations on making a March to October speedrun leaderboards? Maybe if it was possible, have a subcategory for each teams difficulty (Favorites, Contenders, Underdogs, Longshots). And then either have an automatic set difficulty or let the player decide what difficulty they play on (most likely if you let the player choose, they would choose beginner). Anyway its just a thought.

This is a new Category that I previously theorized called All Worlds. Basically its the middle man for starfy runs. Any% is the short version, and 100% is the very long version. The run is pretty much beat World 1 to World 10 with the final split being the final hit on Old Man Lobber. Again since I cant record runs, I posted my time down below. I also really hope that you (mods) add this category and an Big Bossdown category to this game for some variety. While the game isnt played much, I still think it should be added to maybe attract some new players

100%: No one has an Idea what is considered 100%. Do you just count the Star Menu? Do you go for the Gauntlet? Do you have to get rainbow rank? There has never been a definitive answer,

Damageless/minimum damage: I mean yeah its possible for a Minimum damage run, but no is going to want to do that

No bros attack: Again, no one is going to want to do that

Minimum moves: Thats an impossible category, since you can be at different stats and levels anywhere

Low%: Thats basically an any%. Unless there were any skips in the game that could skip bosses in some way, this would never happen

No healing: Very few fights require healing and 99% of the time, your healing SP not HP
