Hey RohitBhuta,
I believe we have found a way to distinguish runs from before and after the Neo integration. You are correct that those runs could be tackled by obsoletion, however, the majority of runs on the leaderboard were done on the old versions, so we'd lose a significant portion of the SRC history. Separation also allows people who haven't updated to Neo to still compete.
Of course, if this becomes an issue, then re-unification is a possibility.
Thanks, Colton
Hello,
I have implemented a (hopefully permanent) solution. See the News update for more information.

Hi all,
Quick update: We appear to be close to a solution. I will update the SRC page further if this solution is able to be implemented.
Thank you for your patience,
Machs
That's the leading idea. Just need to ensure we can tell which version is bing submitted, and make sure the SRC page supports the site formatting we want.
Thanks for the comment. Moderators are aware of this and working to get this figured out.
Hi all,
As @paper2222 noted a couple months ago, the Neo update to Super Hexagon will change the SR.C competition drastically. While it will be great to have all devices unified (in theory) under the same engine, the engine's "bug fixes" includes fixing In-Game Time to match real time. Because of this, it looks like all runs submitted with the new engine will be unable to be <2 minute times. This of course makes most of the leaderboard obsolete.
Is anyone aware of obvious signs to distinguish submitted runs that are on old vs Neo engines?
Any feedback on differences between old & Neo versions or ideas on a path forward would be greatly appreciated.
PS: If you're waiting on a run to be verified, this is why I have not verified them yet, and likely won't until the leaderboard is resolved.
Thanks, Machs
Thanks for the information. I'll look into it and see what response makes the most sense. If you have suggestions, feel free to IM me.

Your run has been updated. App store apps are simply uploaded as "iOS"
Thanks for your feedback. This leaderboard is not very large at the moment so implementing a mode that only a couple people would finish isn't ideal. That said, I'll keep this in consideration and if others present this idea we can reconsider.
Since reaching a certain score simply changes your level to the next level up in difficulty (albeit without the timer restarting to zero), I've decided against this. If there is a strong case & runners are very interested then this could be amended but I don't find it necessary.
Feel free to direct message me.
If your run is submitted as 100%, it will not be approved in any% as it is not an honest attempt at that mode.
No subcategories were added to the IL runs since different devices do not give major advantages in these categories. You can see more details from when I created the subcategories here: https://www.speedrun.com/super_hexagon/thread/qq4ne
