n November 21, 2024, the standard emulator used for speedruns, DuckStation, has received a new update in the form of 0.1-7928. Testings were made with the usual 4xFDS settings on, and substantially faster loading times were detected. Additional tests were performed with the toned down 3xFDS, and the emulator was still faster than previous builds with 4xFDS.
Based on the information gathered, it was decided by the moderation staff, for the sake of the leaderboards' consistency, that DuckStation version 0.1-7928 upwards must not be played with the FDS setting turned on. Should emulator runners wish to play with the endorsed 4xFDS setting, they must use the 0.1-7878 version or prior.

Good evening, folks.
I'd like to leave a demonstration I've recorded recently that shows more advanced and optimized drifting techniques using RTS Infinito. It's some evidence that Assoluto is indeed the fastest route for Any%, due to the signifcant time saves that one can obtain in Stage 3 by using Infinito. I hope I can record a good run soon enough, but I can't make any promises due to how busy I am. Without further ado, here it is:
