Why was this retimed?

It's not really a big problem, but I'm wondering why it was re-timed because I stopped the timer right as I hit N, but the animation took about 3 seconds to fade so if the timer is supposed to stop when the text fades then that should be updated in the run category's description

Agreed, I noticed that when I attempted to get first place in each category but soon realised that maybe that wasn't so possible. I thought the minigames just lasted for awhile lol so I just stopped.
