Or use emulator OpieOP
(also u quicc)
When I practice a new trick, it would be really, really useful to know what you have to do to get it right, but also what you have to do to get it wrong in every single possible way, so you don't have to figure it out yourself, but hey, that's just a theory, A GAME THEORY.
Will this post ever be stickied? (don't know how to spell that sorry bad english)
I only see a giant minus where the picture should be Thanks for taking the time to update this as the WR progresses my lit b
There's another way to do FPG without sockfolder setup and without mavpole, just jumping at the top of the pole. Possible and with setups in both 4-1 and 8-3 (I still haven't uploaded alternative 8-3 FPG setup lul eccs dee) It requires not holding B at the beginning of both levels, however, you require frame perfect pole inputs
noice b I'd like to know how to replicate an 11 pixel bump, because it would make entering the pipe MUCH easier,
This literally came out of nowhere, and I didn't even know it was possible to get 10 pixels from pipe bumps because someone told me that The chances that this would just happen first try, 10 pixels 2X in a row off pipes, and go down the 1st pixel, someone please calculate
We need to get people hyped up enough to play all stars, then people will do this OP strat since there will be more competition and as a result a more tight WR PogChamp
1-2g is a hard tricc that Kosmic didn't go for because it's a hard tricc (even though it saves 5 framerules) But he could have 4:58 if he went for 1-2g (which is my intent)
Or does it?
Pick a title that will hook people in (something like "Any% attempts for 4:59" or something) because I get a few more viewers when I am doing attempts, rather than practice (yes, I click on Roy's stream because I see oh snap 4:56.5 attempts? I gotta watch this PogChamp )
Make an appealing thumbnail or something (I think, something that might catch someone's eye and make them like "o"
Get an OP any% PB. When I got my 4:59 I started getting a few more viewers, as opposed to my every once in a while 1 viewer I started getting more like 3 on average and stuff
Get WR OpieOP somewes got 200 more viewers per stream on top of his 70 when he got WR
Strim often (cuz then there are more chances for people to catch you I think)
Don't have a mic like mine (cuz it sounds dumb, but I like the ASMR so I'm a rebel)
Don't die
Go to other smb1 streams and talk to them and stuff, then people kno you
Make the stream attractive (something people would like to hang around in) and be attractive (someone people would like to hang around)
Or don't listen to any of this since I get average 4 viewers with 200 followers
@zsjetu9 I've looked at your spreadsheet, and I think it is definitely useful, however, it is confusing to look at, since it says stuff like framerule behind WR, but it gets a little confusing since he does 8-3 FPG, while some others may not. I recommend you could help reduce confusion by saying maybe "framerules behind 457 pace (without any FPGs)" or something
Well, b, u c, Nestopia is a special emulator in which it's like WutFace and DansGame since recording inputs as an option has not been found. So I believe you don't heff to do anything PogChamp
@Darpey Actually it's 3 people in the world, Kosmic, somewes, and RoyLGamer (he messed up 4-1 FPG so he went for 420 blazit and got it b )
If you want to do a hard trick once for fun, that's fine, and gl b
If you want to do a hard trick consistently, that's a whole different story of blood and tears and aching and It's not that dramatic, but it's hard b, but so is everything else in speedrunning, and improving
I forgot what I am posting this for
@KomedyKid 2 BUMP METHOD U WOT M8? I say, to get 375 more often and better, is to work on doing the bumps better and faster (if you need a comparison I can try and show you) Even some 374 methods can get 375 even consistently if you can do the bumps better and faster
I find going down one of the pipes without the warpzone being loaded just immediately takes me to the beginning of the warpzone, I'm guessing it's because the game is confused, but I don't know how it works
The literal defintion of burn out is to become completely exhausted through overwork. You basically just start having a really hard time and everything is super hard and you aren't really progressing.
Then divide the number of frames by the number of frames per second, 60.0988139 (found in the description of my any% run in case you ever need to find it because that's where I always go to get it)
