I wish a site rule was introduced that made it so that if you pirate a game for running and speak about doing so, you are permanently banned from the site unless the community agrees that a cracked version is the only version useful for speedrunning/the only version available and it turns out to be true or something like that. And anyone who admits/is found out to have a run on the leaderboard on a cracked version of a game while the above criteria isn't met will be permanently banned.
Would put this whole TLauncher thing to bed tbh.
According to https://docs.google.com/document/d/1A7NtP7LegD7SYjho54gQDSlJkYZlofndjw2COu00yMU ,
"Starlight is allowed for 1.16+."
This therefore would invalidate 1.15 runs that use this mod.
No, at least not until category extensions comes along once the full game is released. Even then, doubt it will even be a category extension tbh.
@BlauDavid if you do, dont come crying when you're banned from src.
@miaaaaa_ We don't fucking give a shit. gtfo.
@LeafpoolSR I'd like to heavily agree.
The shitpost threads, the dream threads, etc. In over 15 pages mods didn't do a thing.
@OtakuIsBetterThanSG Coming from a person with a rickroll pfp, I beg to differ. Just because splicing exists doesn't mean every single run is spliced. And I don't know if it has the most spliced runs. Take Henning Blom in Goldeneye 007 for example. Spliced like 7+ runs.
Of course, there are people who splice runs, but it is way harder to splice runs in Minecraft compared to that of Goldeneye due to many more factors needing to be exactly the same between splices. This is easier in goldeneye as there is much less to worry about when one is splicing, again take Henning for example (who definitely didn't do a good job at it, at least on his most notable frigate run).
Because there aren't any major differences between 1.9 - 1.13. It only gets a split if it's a major change afaik [correct me if I'm wrong], such as 1.16 with the new nether etc.
"if i have cape mod my run will accept ?"
No.
"how can i get custom cape in vanilla"
You can't.
"This makes me kind of sad"
All runners can swear if they want, and someone has to be like two years old to take offense to it or get sad about it.
Assuming the remapping rules for Undertale also apply here, then this is what the UT rules state for remapping arrow keys to WASD and remapping in general with QWERTY keyboards (not sure about others):
"You can only bind up to W, left to A, down to S, and right to D. You are allowed to use the arrow keys in addition to WASD."
"You're not allowed to use Fabric, so it's a no" @KingLavaCactus then why the fuck does it say you can use fabric in the rules, huh? Drink some Fosters before commenting lol
Also, Altf42, thanks. I was thinking of mod menus that can be found in multiplayer games such as GTA 5.
"And can i use mod menu" No. Cheat codes and mod(menu)s are banned and will get your run rejected.
