Hmm… I’ve tried and tried, but can’t get it to work, sorry!

I promise it did work before… and I even remember loading the state and re-doing it a few times, (it didn’t matter where I placed the egg, so long as I made the rescue pod thing appear)

I recall the planet I blew up was small… I thought it was the first planet of the starting system (or maybe the neighbouring system..? I remember thinking it looked kinda like the crystal planet)

The reason I found the bug was that I was basically clowning around in the game as much as I could, to see if I could get ‘fired’ somehow.

Another thing: I remember wrongly logging planets and making distress calls before blowing up the planet.

I hope someone’s able to replicate the bug some day (since it’d give rise to a whole new glitched category for this game).

Oh wow, I found a way to blow up the starbase..!!

Tried it, but it didn’t work… maybe it was just some fluke… I’ll play about with it, see if I can replicate whatever it was I did

I’ve just remembered how to do a glitch which completes the game. I told Schmidtty about it on one of his streams a while back, but i got the details wrong (sorry about that).

I THOUGHT it was just a case of running out of TV fuel and jetting off any planet. Now I remember - it happened when I put a black egg on the little planet in the starting system, THEN running out of fuel in the TV (so the little rescue pod animation happens) and then taking off. The planet explodes, and the ending plays out.

I’m about to fire the emulator up and try it now. Will let you know how it goes
