Been Long overdue for a Leaderboard update and I apologise for that, I had originally intended to do this just after New Years but i unfortunately ran into a pretty serious medical emergency that completely put a stop to all my plans. In light of this i am going to be looking for folk to join the mod team to help keep the queues down, while i was recovering the queue got quite large and neglected and it does ultimately fall down to me. If anyone is interested please reach out to me and we can look at getting new folks added.
Second I took the feedback from folk asking for platforms to finally be separated and I will be working to get that implemented. As it stands PS2, Saturn, PC and Arcade will have their own categories and all Emulator runs will be in their own Emulator specific category. It will take a few days for everything to look normal again (I fear I will have to manually edit 99% of runs to change their platform, alternatively if anyone wants to volunteer for that effort it will be greatly appreciated)
Lastly in light of Twitch's recent changes to the highlights system and the cap on users, we will be rejecting all future twitch highlight links and we ask that you submit YouTube Links instead. Runs already verified are grandfathered in but i highly recommend playing it safe and editing them with a YouTube Link.
If anyone has any other suggestions of Feedback they wish to share then please feel free to and we can consider it if theres community demand.

I have gone ahead and added IGT to all currently submitted runs, the Final IGT is just the sum of all License tests added together. IGT will now be required in future submissions and will now the main timing method for the Drivers License category. The board and rules have been updated to reflect this change.
This was done in an effort to make both versions of the game viable to run due to the differing load times between the PC and Dreamcast versions of the game as the PC version has faster loads than the Dreamcast version which can be seen when comparing the runs of me and Nimputs for example.

Hey, I was wanting to get into speedrunning some PS2 games (im mainly a PC game runner and some of the games i want to run have issues on PCSX2) so i was considering getting a real console to run the games. Only problem is i dont know what you would consider to be the "Optimal" setup. as in which model, run the game off disc or hdd etc. so if you guys could help me out that would be great ^_^
https://www.speedrun.com/grid/run/kz5k15jz This run only does the first auto selected track in each location, which means the run doesnt complete every course in Europe. Comparing with the All Japanese Courses which does every course in every location
The game has a time attack mode which allows you to race each track trying to set a good time,
The timing would be Fastest 3 laps (complete 3 laps as fast as possible)
There would be 3 categories, Premier, Modified and Masters
Since there are not timing rules set for any% i suggest the following,
Timer Starts when you gain control of your character in the prologue (or when you select the difficulty)
Timer Ends when you lose control of your character when you open the vault in chapter 10
After watching uhTrance and Hoobies NG+ run they defeat Volcano wesker pretty much as soon as the fight starts, i have tried to replicate what they did but am having difficulties doing so, is there a guide i can use to help me learn how to replicate it?
