I tried to speedrun Chapter 7, but at my current equip state I do not really consider it speedrunnable: mobs just don't die on hit, and boss fights are quite long.
So, I haven't even uploaded nor created the category in the first place.
However, if anyone - better equip or not - wished to attempt it, just ask and I'll create the appropriate category!
I just reserve the right to mark it as "Misc." unless the run is clean (i.e. oneshotting normal mobs, killing bosses relatively quickly, etc.). Have a look at Chapter 6 runs to have an example of that.
First you click on "Leaderboards", then on "Show rules".
It is my understanding that if it's not specifically listed as allowed in the rules, then it's not.
A version of the original PAL ROM is usually called "European", in case it helps.
Ok fair, sorry for not getting it, looking at its previous posts you're likely right
Sorry, you're asking the mods to delete a thread, ban its author, and call it "mf", just because you don't like it?!?
Since creating threads for users is currently bugged (IIRC), I'll create this general thread where anyone can post replies if needed.
Couldn't find a "report spam" button, weird.
Anyone whose account is at least 7 days old may submit a game to have a new leaderboard created here by going to "Support" and clicking on "new ticket".
Thanks, I confirm that's the case, I was able to submit a request now!
So I've just started speedrunning and I haven't found much documentation about LiveSplit itself, like many things are taken for granted it seems.
I'm struggling to understand how I'm actually supposed to use it bread and butter, like ok I setup the layout, used it for a session of speedruns, saved the splits, submitted, all that.
But what about next session?
Should I reload the old one and keep adding to that?
Should I reload the old one and then reset the times, and add stuff from scratch - but at least I already have the split names already setup?
Could find no explanation of that online...
Hi folks, Lohoris here! Gamer since I was born, speedrunner aficionados for years, so far I've only watched them but never attempted any myself.
Lately I've realised I'd like to try to speedrun an Android game, for how strange it may be, but it just isn't even present on any speedrunning platform because nobody every bothered to run it.
I'm wondering what's the best course of action here, like does any record tracking website allow users to create new game pages, or should I just keep track myself and whatever?
Cheers, and thanks in advance!
