It's nice to see people being smart enough to make sure their question has been addressed before
Because you made your account less than an hour ago and aren't any kind of mod
I've seen speedruns for Task Completion as the Crewmates Still don't think it should be on the site but I digress
Mildly suss link in their post that doesn't relate to what they're saying https://www.speedrun.com/ninagrace/allposts
Moderators should have social media links in their profiles. Alternatively the site has personal messaging.
You'd be better off asking the Resident Evil community
There's also autosplitters that work just by watching the game window and splitting (or sometimes pausing) whenever it matches a stored image (and unpausing on another image if relevent). I think that the SM64 autosplitters work by counting the number of black screens and splitting on specific ones.
You're shameless. Your twitter is already linked and I'm pretty sure you can link your facebook in your account as well.
Oreo I swear I want to run some of the games you got added to the site but my backlog of goals in my current speedgames is huge plus I've got a backlog of games to play casually.
It's just a failsafe in case you edit the date, time or video to make sure you're not invalidating the run or something like that.
If you want this that badly you're welcome to make a google doc or something similar to track it with other people who want to do it. But there's next to no chance of this happening for the reasons oreo outlined. You're underselling how contrived the PvE version of this is.
Rules have been tightened for what gets accepted over the years, but changes were not applied retroactively
Prologues are probably fine as they are usually full games in their own right, assuming they fit all the other requirements. I think there's now rules against demos because of them having less content but it's not explicitly banned in the Request Game rules that I found so I may be wrong there. Check for yourself.
I'm assuming you've talked with the Final Fantasy XV community about this already and they couldn't do anything?
If you're talking about automatic timing with no input on your part, you need an autosplitter, which is an additional functionality on top of a timer itself.
To elaborate further.
- PvP generally applies to any game where there's 2 or more players with conflicting goals.
- Banning multiplayer games wouldn't work because there's plenty of other games where players work together that can and are speedran (e.g. Super Mario 64 Online)
PvP is Player(s) vs Player(s) There's an implied plural.
