First, same thing pear said. Read the first thread in this forum. Second, I know you mean MineCraft, and that would be modifying the game. Which would be cheating. Y'know, that thing you're not supposed to do.
^ Did that bot ... start a thread with a title that's a question about a specific game, and make their actual post the "please go to the game forum" reply? That coding is either brilliant or idiotic
OK yeah disregard. It looks like both things are getting resolved automatically by waiting. Sorry for the disturbance.
So for one of the games I mod, we renamed our 2 categories and added 2 new categories with the names of the original 2 categories, then transferred appropriate runs to the newly created categories. Did it in this order because it meant less runs needed to be moved. Now this would be fine, but the boards don't look correct now. First, some of the runs are still appearing in the original categories, though if you click them the category on the run page is correct. (Given that this has fixed itself for some of them, I suspect it is a time/cache based thing and am not worried.) Second, on the new categories, only the first run that was moved (the WR) appears. Other runs don't appear unless a filter is applied. I'm not sure what to make of this though I recall it being mentioned before so maybe it's known.
I don't think anyone's using PvP during a speedrun
Leaderboards are allowed to allow or ban versions of the game or emulators as they see fit. If the emulator does not emulate the game well, and I recall that dolphin is not the best at accuracy since it favored playability, they are allowed to ban it if it gives unfair advantage over console. If you feel passionately about this, you can take it up with the mods for the specific leaderboard for the game you want to run.
Well it was an advertiser/bot selling money printing services, but now it's a half-deleted thread
You can submit a run in whatever language you please.

Generally you become a mod if you request a game that gets accepted or if a mod for a current game adds you. If there is a game you are active in where the mod is not, you may be able to get mod status by requesting it from the appropriate thread. However, given that your account is only a few hours old and you have no socials, it is both unnecessary for you to be made mod of anything rn, and unlikely that you would be accepted if you asked.
Damn another necro. How worthwhile.
You could try explaining why that's the closest thing to a full game run but it's still not guaranteed it will be accepted
I have no idea. Which is why you should ask the minecraft community.
