I also don't think they should, there are already a lot of runs that would violate the new "rule" which makes me stray away from the idea.

Things despawn because there are too many things on screen, afaik RNG and framerules have nothing to do with despawning. Also I think Mars02 is right.

Yeah, pellsson makes it so much easier. If you have pellsson, here's a quick thing explaining it: You want to go through the level perfectly like the video up there does. When you get to the area between the two places where there are platforms moving up and down, the subpixels in the 2nd to right value must be rotating D and 5. (If you want to know how to turn these on, pause, scroll down to where it says "show rule", click A, then unpause and you should notice different values in the upper left corners). I'd recommend making a save state on top of the row of bricks (dw about high of low way of doing it they are pretty much the same afaik) and maybe getting a bit of slow-mo because that helps sometimes (might be different for you though lol). Now, when you run off of the row of bricks, jump at frame 035 off of the platform. To know where this is, you can look at the thing in the middle of the top of the screen that says "FRAME" and if you jump right it will say 035. Now when you jump off, you want to do a full jump. Before you land, release B then jump almost immediately after landing (it might be a couple of frames later or it might not be, I don't think it matters though) and continue to hold right before hitting the pipe. Right before hitting it, tap left to hopefully pull you into the pipe. If there is anything that needs more explaining or if there is anything anyone thinks I got wrong, please tell me and I'll edit this!!! I hope it was helpful, I don't know what your skill level/how much you know so I tried to explain it in a pretty pare bones matter. GL :D!!!!!!

@Lululover 8-4 wall jump is the most consistent imo. Not sure though. 2 frame is incredibly easy on normal standards, but I can only imagine how nerve-racking it would be on 454 pace. But I do think that's the most consistent.

Yeah Sawyer is right, I completely overlooked the fact that after doing all these frame-perfect tricks and stuff the pressure and everything makes it super hard.

pl8-1 isn't THAT hard for some people, so I think it is that consistent. I think people overestimate the hardness of pl8-1, but it is a very tough trick.

@felixwarp doing that for having a little time between the stuff isn't worth it imo. 4 frame perfect inputs for just a couple of frames of looseness isn't worth it imo. And as you can see, my 2-year-old mind is having trouble writing this. I think you understand though that I don't think it would be worth it. I don't know how much time it loses if done wrong, but if that's bigger then there isn't a reason. I'm pretty dumb and don't really know what I'm talking about right now tho, so idk, don't take this as a serious response.

Okay I just want to be clear I expected to be told what @Gietie said but the theoretical perfect game without framerules (or just with R00 but like... I doubt that's even possible) would pretty much be that if I didn't skip over anything. Also if we wanted to be even MORE theoretical, we could consider L+R but that's kinda cheating imo

@SpeedIn In the words of Miniland, "you can but it would be dumb" I assume this means that too many good runs would die to failed fast accel. The perfect run would probably be L4-2, 1-1 FPG+JonnyBoy and fast accel, 4-1 FA+FPG, a perfect 1-2g, PL8-1, TAS8-2+FA, 8-3FPG, and a perfect 8-4 (I forgot is it 8-I or something? Idk). But I'm not a TASer or anything like that so I wouldn't know if any of this would help. If it would though, the likeliness of all of that happening in a run is so unlikely that you'd probably have to play nonstop for like 10 years or something.

No I know that the game is extremely optimized I'm just a crazy punk that's, op... optim.... optimmmm... optimistic?! I don't think with our current knowledge it's possible but it will be. I do agree that it won't happen in the near future. It will probably be at least 2050 before anything is found, but I'm probably wrong about that.
