Seems the fix was completely rebooting my PC, not just restarting it. I will follow up here if it happens again down the road and i find a potential fix for future runners who run into the same situation

Sorry if this is the wrong place, but I couldn't find anywhere with any answers. My game was running fine yesterday, and now it seems to crash on start up every time. I never had this issue when i ran the game back in the day, either. Has anyone else ran into this issue? any known fixes?

What are the mechanics for this skip? are you just hitting it at a precise point? is there a jump involved? i cant seem to hit it correctly haha. Thanks!
