Hello all! This year's Big Bad Game-a-Thon schedule is posted, and it's a real doozy. You can find all of our big bad games here: https://horaro.org/bbg2019/schedule
This year our submissions were a bit more heavily weighted with weird games than bad ones, so what's a bad game marathon to do? We created Weird Games block! It begins on Saturday night shortly after the retro computing block, and it features a bunch of games that might not be awful, but are certainly awfully bizarre!
Hello Liv! Yes, that would be fine. Thanks for checking :)

Hi CannedRisky. Sorry for the delay in getting this answered. The mod squad have been pretty busy lately and I've only just found the time to review your notes. I have updated the timing on Non Human. I have also reviewed the Firebreathers run and it appears you're correct. I've rejected the run, so that should be all cleared up. I suspect the runner highlighted the wrong clip unintentionally.
I think that handles things for now. Thank you for letting us know.
I don't feel super strongly either way, but it would be more consistent with the other isometric D&D series if the timer begins upon clicking "Accept" on the character creation screen.
We are excited to announce our second annual Big Bad Game-a-thon! We are celebrating the bad, underloved, or just plain weird games out there and we're doing so with over 50 hours of some amazingly talented runners who for whatever reason chose to showcase all of this beautiful crap!
The event starts at 4pm (EDT) on Friday September 14th and runs until about 9pm (EDT) Sunday the 16th. Check the schedule for your "favorite" games, and follow @bigbadgameathon on twitter for updates leading up to and following the marathon, including future showcases, exhibitions, races, and other silly nonsense celebrating bad games!
Hey all. Super short notice I know, but I just realized I never posted for a marathon we're hosting next weekend (September 14th through 16th) celebrating bad, weird, and underloved games. Big Bad Gameathon is entering its second year and the lineup is pure fire... dumpster fire!

Thanks!
Thanks Legs! I tried to reply to the other post but kept erroring out, so I figured it was just easier to give you mod status. :) And yeah, this game is crappy. But, it's fun crappy. For me at least.
I just set it to GB because it's the only release, but there's no reason I wouldn't validate SGB or SGB2 runs. Go ahead and submit and I'd be happy to approve it.
There was a back and forth about it between Smilge and Jiseed once upon a time. I think Smilge had compiled some notes for it as well. As I recall, rescuing Hendak was one of the absolutely mandatory parts about getting through chapter 2 in a hurry. I keep flirting with the idea of routing it myself but I can never seem to find the time. Optimized I'd guess it's probably about a 90 minute run glitchless?
Huge thanks to everybody who turned up for this marathon! I think it's safe to say that the amount of support we got from the community well exceeded our expectations. We will absolutely be putting another one next year! Get your bad games ready! :)
kruskader speaks the truth! But when Big Bad Gameathon 2018 is opening up submissions, we'll be starting a new thread here! We'd love to see your terrible games! :)
Welcome to the first annual Big Bad Game-a-thon! The BBG celebrates bad and underloved games in a three day journey beginning Friday September 15th and running through the evening of Sunday the 17th. Join us for some great fun and greater schadenfreude as speedrunners come together to showcase some hot garbage, bootleg crapola, and hilariously bad writing and programming.
