dont need a cap card to speedrun, but gv-usb2 is cheap
ask the HL forum.
also, probably because it takes a long time, features no real game play, and can be skipped, so why not?
@aridner you try DMing luigi on both discord and twitch?
@rodge contact the mods of the leaderboard if you want to be a mod, or ask them to properly setup the leaderboard.
Just record it locally and upload to youtube. No stream software worth using can operate on those specs.
No different than speedrunning handheld games. Recording it is the trickier part, but I'm sure @Oxknifer can help you there.
sitting at the top for fastest would be a lot of shitty games.
if you flip it you'd just get a lot of RPGs in the dozens of hours territory.
STOP RIGHT THERE YOU'VE VIOLATED THE LAW
What rule did you break exactly? Leniency for things like showing FPS might be alright if the one moderating the game knows what the game looks like at 60fps, though I don't know anything about Oblivion speedruns, so not sure.
do not think it is professional to moderate a run this way
To be fair you're the one that didn't read the rules before hand. Mods aren't professionals, they're runners just like you. One glance at the leaderboard tells me they probably don't take console runs that seriously.
If you care you can delete your run right now, if the integrity of the board is that important to you. It's worth noting that this thread is for requesting mod, or mod changes, when you've exhausted all other options. Like discussing it with the actual game moderators first. Mods make mistakes all the time, hardly worth complaining here about.
What part read like a bot? The last sentence where he shares a link relevant to his topic?
M1 hasn't been online in 2 months, even with WR that seems like a poor choice for mod, but then again I have no idea how frequent runs get posted to that game so idk
