yeah just get the gv-usb2
too many responsibilities to peep page 1 of the mod request thread wants to mod a leaderboard he doesn't run xd dude
I mean you can call it what you want, but speedrunning itself is a hobby.
An esport revolves around a particular game, not a particular hobby. So yeah speedrun races of say, celeste i guess could be seen as an esport, but I think by definition there has to be actual player vs player game play, not player vs game.
But hey what do I know, push for that speedrunning esport, it might be as popular and as relevant as smash someday.
but i doubt it
Speedrunning isn't an esport Trying for high scores isn't an esport I feel like I see this thread every day.
@chopchopgames I'm not talking about cheating / timer abuse, I'm talking about finding new strats and getting the best time (or score?) and withholding that until a day before the competition is over. This would ensure that nobody would steal my faster methods to knock me off the top, but uh, I think this is an automatic in game time leaderboard? If that's the case then I wouldn't need video proof? You say you would reach out and ask for video if you suspect someone has cheated, but without video proof from the jump you can't exactly prove they are or are not cheating.
I mean if the run isn't listed with your vod, or your name, I don't see the issue. Just don't click on the leaderboard. You can't delete the memory of your run's existence from someone's mind. You might not agree with their solution, but who cares? Just move on.
Also, it's my PB anyways. I just asked them to list it as anonymous. I don't appreciate you trying to take credit for it.
Can you speedrun on a nes classic rip off?
yes
Just curios. I want to know if rip offs run the same as a nes classic or nes
probably not
You're either completely incompetent or a troll.
I'm not giving you the latter.
They asked you to remove the giant watermark, surprised they didn't mention the music. The timer in the top corner is not proof of your run when you can't see 80% of the rest of it. It's as useless as a screenshot. I suspect you won't be around much longer with behavior like this though. Refusing to remove a giant watermark from your vids is just shady.
Don't worry, nobody else is a professional speedrunner either.
The NES Castlevanias were designed as sort of an antithesis of Mario. Everyone just blows through levels really fast, so lets force the player to take the game slow. Doesn't stop people from speedrunning them of course.
Also autoscrollers
woke: adjusting to RNG mid run joke: no rng
So I could, say, get the fastest time, and withhold that until the 9th, correct? No point sharing strats found with anybody else.
