I know this reply comes very late but I wanted to add this video here since I made this nearly 7 years ago. It's probably all known stuff but maybe the skip in the final clip isn't?
Hi, I am a moderator for Copy Kitty of the Entanma series. There used to be a leaderboard for the demo-version of the game, but ultimately it was decided to have all runs be done on the full release only.
I couldn't find a way to contact a full mod to remove the demo-version for me so instead sent an email that was provided for other questions, but alas no response or action.
If full mods read this, could one of you delete the game "Copy Kitty (obsoleted)"?
That's pretty cool to see it being done at a marathon. Even a new big skip was discovered apparently. I could add this to the leaderboard. Will be retimed to 28:23 to match the timing of other runs.
What it comes down to is that all versions of this game on this board gameplay-wise are about the same, with some minor differences in the glitches. Versions like the PS1 and PS2-version have been seperated to have their own board as the PS1 removed worlds from the original and most worlds by themselves are completely different and the PS2 version has the overworld mechanic along with more objectives. In terms of speedrunning, at least PS2 can't really be put onto these boards as it has a couple of categories that are exclusive to that version.
Because all versions in this board are very similar and people only really run PC for the most part, there's no point seperating it anyways, especially since N64 has become obsolete after new tricks on PC were discovered to make it faster, though there is a new runner who runs on N64. But versions are still their own thing through filtering. ManoCheese holds the N64 World Record and FreshToast the DreamCast record.
We can add it if runners think they want these runs to be on speedrun.com. I did bring attention to this subject after your post to the other runners, but so far I haven't seen many responses on it yet. Though me and Darnok are at least so far to conclude that if we add them, we will add them as Miscellaneous categories. If we add them in the near future, we will include your run on the leaderboard as well.
SDA does have the record for Walk of Life and Walk of Power tracked. If we make them be tracked here too, we will do so if there's enough demand for it. Tracking other worlds wouldn't work because ILs without their times being tracked in-game is kinda arbirtary and no one would care about them anyways.
