Yeah, I have the exact same problem. And while messing around with the settings, I could not find a solution. When I eventually could see the textures that were messing, I actually had glitched pause menu, or the game was running at like 2fps. So, just try finding the settings that suit you the best, but you may come back to the initial situation...
Well, people do whatever they want but Very Easy doesn't look interesting. We still have Mania to improve dude (and pretty much every category actually).
So yeah, just waiting for a Very Easy run to be submitted to see how it turns out.
