I feel like it's a completely valid tactic, and is a use of the games mechanics, which is what speedrunning is about isn't it? Using and abusing anything given to you, intentional or not.
The user's account is 1 week old and is the supermod of the game, this means the game has only been added recently. A user has 2 weeks to set up the game's board, or the game is deleted. You can either wait for the game to be removed and then re-submit the game, or you could head over to the Mod request page and ask to be added for Hero Siege. Since the user hasn't been online pretty much since the account was made, and has no accounts attached to his account, it will likely be accepted.
Mod request thread - http://www.speedrun.com/The_Site/thread/63nr7/38
Because it's run by different people, and they have different opinions on things.
Happy New Year
I hope to (Re)Start streaming, and learn more than one speed game. Maybe try and get some more people running the Lego games ^_^
Usually a couple of days, but it may be a little longer during the festive season.
Duckinjail, fyi you can have specific capitalisation in case you want to be ImDead or similar.
Head over to the actual game page to find more specific information there.
I sense your sarcasm, but since he's the only person that runs the game, putting it in the game's forum means no one would see it. At least here he can show off something, you know, in the speedrunning forum...the place for general speedrun stuff.
That seems like an excellent idea for a catagory because, unless you can glitch out the wave system somehow, it is purely down to execution and skill.
It varies for every game really. Try looking for ways to change the shape or size of your hitbox, then fit into places you shouldn't be able to fit. Those usually lead to out of bounds glitches, useful or not.
Xezrunner, Garl_Memory was literally on less than an hour ago and is a Super Mod. Contact them first.
This is a Last Resort thread.
Depending on the game verification can take up to 2-3 weeks, however 2 mods have been inactive 9 months, and the 3rd 3 months. Try contacting the via twitter/twitch and if you get no response, head over to the mod request thread.
Quick update on the post above.
There is a program called DXWnd which can force most programs into forced windowed mode, including this and Lego Indiana Jones. If there's any confusion using it this tutorial should help.
You could provide a download link as an alternative, however it is best to have them on a video sharing site somewhere, because people are always wary of downloads.
Never seen a watermark on an Xsplit broadcaster recording, but I may just be blind.
Xsplit is also very good for local recording. Other than that there isn't really many free video recorders that don't drop a huge watermark over your videos.
If the game isn't on the website, it means it hasn't been requested on the site. This doesn't mean there are no speedruns of it, but would likely require some digging to find it.
@-STAR_fox- You have no Lego runs (That are validated) and there is at least one, if not more active mods of the lego series of games.
