Mentioned this on the discord, but this run is missing wait 15 minutes at rolf
So, Windows 95 timing would look very different due to the fast forward feature. For full runs, not a problem, since you use real time, but for single levels, IGT doesn't exactly work since the way FF works is by making IGT wind down extremely fast. I posted this a few days ago on an older thread but I think this warrants its own thread. Also, Windows 95 is an explicit option for full game submissions, while single levels just has "PC". I'm not an expert on screen fading but this particular level has the screen with the OK/cancel button disappearing at 09:26 and last input pressed at 11:37 (IGT 3 seconds) and screen fading at 11:50, so 145 frames = 2 s 416.66 ms? Or if speedruns tend to round up, then just 3s? Or just ignore all this and continue to use IGT despite the RT taking less than 3 seconds?
Also, would it be worth having a category for DOS at not-high end settings? I am looking for games I can run on native DOS and my computer cannot handle the high performance setting at all, but then I cannot use the fade to black to shorten IGT so it's not worth it.
Windows 95 has a fast forward function that greatly differentiates itself from the IGT (because the way it functions is winding the time down very fast), no one runs that version but for the single levels would it make more sense to use real time?
(Also, I was thinking of running the DOS version from my native PC, but it's not high-end compatible, so it would be a bit silly to try and compete with DOS if I'm not playing the high end mode for fade outs)
The following runs (top 2 USA/NTSC runs of 100% NMG) are submitted as english versions of the game but should be listed as japanese:

There are probably more but I just noticed those 2 and not sure if there's a better way to report them as I find them.
True, but any% is just fists because fists is fastest, but if someone found a way to do it faster another way, it wouldn't have to be fists.
What is Enigme% and how does it differ from Any%?
Right, I was wondering the same thing. Would the SE be a completely different game in terms of speedrun?
How does the special edition fit in? Would that be a separate game completely?
