I agree all perspectives should show the Baal kill/quest complete. Specially for me and my teams trios run, I went back and clipped it and put it in the comments.

What do you guys think about this: If you run a Hell run and are faster than the normal baal time (cuz you're pushing to cows for spirit runes & base) can you submit both?

I agree with the line of thought that if we're speed running a game, then using IN GAME features to do it faster is allowed. As far as "spirit of the game" that applies to play thrus, not speed runs.

If you're a viewer and don't want to watch it be done that way, that's your choice, but not a reason to handicap a speed run.

There's clearly enough interest in this to make it a category. Do we just allow both types and separate the 2? /e Wait are there more than just 2 options for this?..

I'm fairly positive that it would not result in a faster time, which is why I said I thought it was ok.. but in retrospect: allowing a patch mid run is modding the game files, which is already not allowed, so I'm thinking that's a no.

I think that's fine. Remember: when updating and converting your character, all of that time is added on (you can't pause the timer). As far as I know though, the reason everyone uses the latest version is because it's the fastest one to run on.
