Colorado, USAOkay, this is embarrassing. The "WR" now is a 4:45. This implies that this game didn't get the optimization it received. No credit is given to the people who took it seriously, and the game looks unoptimized. Why was this done?
I don't really mind MY time being gone all that much. It was 3:15-3:16 pace into ripto then i just got pissed on by RNG. But the current boards imply that the game hasn't gone through as much optimization as it actually has, especially with how Cait has a 3:07. I just think it's an unfair representation of the history of speedrunning this game.

I am seriously disappointed in the moderation of this series. I came to this site expecting everything to be here, expecting the moderators to have done a proper job when creating this series.
This being said, I was in shock when I realized that there was a Rayman game that was not being represented on speedrun.com. To my horror, I noticed it was overlooked by the FOUR people who had ample opportunity to put it on the site.
Rayman Brain Games is a childhood classic. Please, for the love of all that is holy, put the game on the site. It's not fair to give every other game a page then discard this game like it's a pile of sh¤t. Pardon my language, but I'm just furious.
If my demands are not met within 48 hours, I will have to contact a site admin and I will take FULL CONTROL over the moderation on this series and all of your speedrun.com profiles will be in jeopardy. Again, the name of the game is Rayman Brain Games on PSX.

Hey, sorry. I haven't been active in the community in months. I helped get the boards set up, and I've enjoyed watching the other mods do their part to run the boards, develop the game, and create a community around this game. However, the only run I ever did was a 22 minute run a few years ago. I was granted mod to help the layout of the games, create rules, etc. I did my part, and you guys are doing a great job. I don't think I'm needed here, so I'll step down. I still love you all, I just wanted to give you a heads up, so you don't think I dropped off the face of the planet when you see my name isn't there. This series of leaderboards needs a complete overhaul. it looks either rushed or just lazy work. Could you add a mod who would be willing to fix it all up?
They do not have gifts in that area. That glitch is known, but there is not a fast use for it.
I know of one missing gift in Who Lake that can happen. When you have Max dress as a skunk and scare off the guard, he drops a 10 gift. If you leave the area and come back, the gift is gone and so is the guard, and you can never have that gift on your file. I had to tweak my 100% route a tad to get this gift during that visit to North shore. As for the 2 gift, you're probably missing it underwater or something.

I agree. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Jako6601 is definitely going to be kept on a shorter leash in the future. I'm sick of being abused and degraded by speedrunner who wants to "win it big" on speedrun.com. I can't believe I was foolish enough to accept this ridiculous claim, and I will try better to follow the rules set out by the speedrun.com board moderators in the future.
Yeah this has happened to me before. It happens when a dart disappears at the same time as you click Next Level. I don't know what to do about it rule-wise.
People have discussed the possibility of a 100% speedrun. The main obstacle in the way for most runners is Secret 5.
I've proposed an idea to a few people and have had positive responses overall. Would "All Bosses" be a decent category idea?

What I need to be able to consistently finish runs of this category is a setup. I've been testing out pause frames on emulator and haven't found anything useful so far.
My ideas are as follows: Hold L2 the whole time - Up/right until pass bulge - left until in front of cracked wall - down/left until buttbonk Hold L2 until cracked wall - Up/right until pass bulge - left until in front of cracked wall - down until buttbonk
Any variations of these may work, but it's insanely hard to try every combination. If somebody figures out a setup with a few pauses and input switches, please post it here with screenshots of the paused game where you made the switches, if that makes sense.
