I would make use of the level leaderboard for individual chapters, and leave the level leaderboard as the default view until an any% run is completed, then switch that over once it is. The speedrunning community is honestly getting so much more talented as a whole, and it's only a matter of time before somebody tackles this.
If you like that idea and would like help shifting things around, I'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
NG+ terminology is already used for fireball+cheats, do you have an alternative name?
I'm not confident this is faster at all. His revving up animation takes so much longer than the charge across the room, and even if you did this, he's still covering the distance of the room by going halfway across then halfway back.
This sounds similar to the thing that happens in Gnasty's World when you leave while dying in Gnorc Cove and get some weird effects. Cool find, the Discord is linked over on the left

To me, it seems like the issue would be the Goomba Color part, which seems to convert the game from GB to GBA. I feel like that part would be really problematic.
That's actually pretty interesting. It may be a difference in how the timer works, or many an FPS issue?
To enter Peace Keepers, you need 10 dragons. To enter Magic Crafters, you need 1200 gems. To enter Beast Makers, you need 5 dragon eggs. To enter Dream Weavers, you need 50 dragons. To enter Gnasty's World, you need 6000 gems.
Flights provide 300 gems at the cost of 45-55 seconds depending on the speedway, which is about 6 gems per second. It's a better alternative than finding 1200 gems elsewhere (considering there's 12000 before Gnasty's World), even on the PS1 version.
That's cool but we're still waiting on things like ng+ spyro 2 and 80/64/149 so good luck
I've removed the faulty link. If anybody has a valid invite, feel free to post here and I will update it.
Collecting all coins in a level is not something that is tracked, or expressed as collected anywhere, so skipping them is a valid thing we use in runs. Perhaps all coins would be a good idea for this. Additionally, levels or worlds (sets of 3 levels I suppose) without taking damage? Low number of berry throws/jumps? There are plenty of challenges you can choose for yourself, hope you have fun doing whatever! GL
Multi-game leaderboards (https://www.speedrun.com/games#gametype=9) don't seem to have the support for certain features. I moderate the Spyro/Crash leaderboards and they're fairly active in comparison to other multi-games, especially as there are races very often. What seems to be lacking is the ability to display individual run times within the submission, and instead I often have submissions where the 3 or 6 run times are written in the description. I realize that what I am able to do is have variable columns, with a user-defined value, and I have tried this, but it doesn't work. I can assign column labels but only to a specific category, but I can't specify deeper to each subcategory. I'd be more than happy to put in the effort adding in each variable, but I can't control how many columns are shown for each subcategory, so it gets messy. Is there an other option I should be exploring?
Please do something better with your time and/or life.
Consider subcategories for DLC and/or all hearts/chapters in some way.
