In some missions there are two, one for the final cutscene starting and then one for MISSION PASSED to come up (EG: War and Pieces)
In any case, I guess it should be the cutscene one, so I've verifiyed a few runs with that timing, if it turns out we disagree then the times can be changed.
Edit: It's fine I'm an idiot, yes the timer stops on the cutscene flash.
We could add "All Solo Missions" and "All Co-op Missions" categories, since some missions are co-op only. I think we should allow for co-op stuff since that's one of the benefits of playing online, can't think of any other co-op GTA speedrun you could do.
Hey Rhans, that's pretty awesome. I've kept looking at the possibility of doing an all special vehicles run myself and I think even during that video where I get the Infernus from Beat Down on B Dup I say how this will help the special vehicles guys a lot because I looked up the other ways of getting the Infernus and they were all pretty hard.
Thanks for letting us know that we're helping non-speedrunning stuff too.
As for the usefulness of the car, the rest of the run has no use for an indestructible fast car because we immediately do Gang Territories after B Dup which we need the Cop Bike for (or another side mission vehicle) and even if we didn't I don't think it would be too useful

Woah, I've been popcorning this whole drama train for a few days while I've been busy, but when did I ever say I didn't like duping? I was actively encouraging people to find it since we knew it was a thing.
It doesn't matter if it's misc or not, it makes 0 difference. So people saying it should AND shouldn't be are both wrong, it literally makes no difference.
This whole discussion (more like argument) is pointless, all this is now is flaming, I'm locking the thread. Spend less time here and more time ACTUALLY SPEEDRUNNING.
I think this is fine, a lot of other speedruns have a "No big skips a lot of people don't like" category. Like "Glitchless", "Inbounds" and shit like that. The trick is to make it as least arbitrary as possible (I have no idea how to say that).
The permanent map marker thing seems OK, a little arbitrary but no one wants to do the schools/challenges etc unless it's 100%.
In any case, this is better than Any% Without Duping and Any% with, because then some other form of skips would be found that isn't "duping" (like instapasses) and then this gets really dumb.

Meaning it's a completely random time of day (other than midnight and the first second of every hour)
Also CyberThunder had two stars when he did the same dupe as me, unless those stars were taken away by the mission and THEN the phonecall came it can't be that :(
Here's how you can dupe black project using Rosenduping™
Fairly sure it won't be useful in runs, since you only skip Green Goo and it has an even longer setup time than regular duping. Only way I could see it is if you finish Stowaway then go to Quarry and start the timer, then get Rockets (Interdiction skip?) and a Helicopter within the 3 minutes. Even then ofc I doubt the 3 minute timer is as long as Green Goo is... I also tested this with Stowaway and NOE, both crashed on entering their mission start markers after starting Meat Business.
Perhaps there are some other missions which behave similar when duped together like this?
EDIT: Duping Home Coming and then Beat Down on B Dup (duping home coming causes two markers for beat down)
