Holy, wp man! Back then sub 5 seemed impossible. This game has already come so far.

Came back to see how the community was doing and I must say: I'm disappointed. This run just uses some different hardware or version to gain an advantage, there was basically no skill involved in getting that better time compared to the dedication put in by the former world records by LordFootball and curiously the Verifier themselves. The runner did not do anything wrong according to the non-existent rules, but I desperately hope this was discussed somewhere before just blindly verifying it. This has massive consequences for the whole game if using other versions makes getting 1st place trivial. Edit: Same thing with act 7 any% wr by the same runner. No skill, just other version or hardware. The last wall glitch right before the finish was horrible, but somehow good enough for a crushing world record.

I don't run the game anymore so I want to share what I was working on before my retirement: In one of the last acts (I don't bother looking it up. If you run this game you know what I mean. The level starts with you having a box in front of you and the end portal can only be reached by cannons ) you can use a cannon to skip between two pink blocks to reach a checkpoint. This skip should save around 30 seconds at best but at least for me it was insanely hard. I hit it around once per 300 attempts. Much luck to y'all

Maybe that's what Vexxter meant, but there is actually a very easy skip in Act5, too where you can glitch through the water below the motherboards directly to the last checkpoint. So together with Vexation and Act 7 that's 3 out of 10 Acts. That said: I'm also in favor of a glitchless category, especially because of the big skip in Act 1, 4 and 5 which is definitely not applicable for full runs

Congrats! If you had utilized the down button more often (for instance on 0:02 and 0:08) that could easily have been a flat 18 seconds. Try again, you will see. (Watching footage of full runs may help as well since those don't use the floor clip). You can also combine the down and s-key for faster down tapping
