According to speedrun.com rules, you may not make a complaint to the game mods until it has been awaiting verification for 2 weeks or more.
I wish there was a "View Rules" button while verifying a run, it's really inconvenient to have to go to the category board, view the rules, then go back and verify the run.
@ShadowDraft I was requesting moderation. I am currently a moderator for "The White Room" and since I can't get ahold of Chryoyo after 2 months and there are many other runs awaiting verification and I'd like to verify them for the Community.
I think what they mean, we'll use me as an example, is using a program I created (in this case we'll say I created cheat engine) to change a value in the game to give me more money, ammo, shiny objects, etc.
However, this would only likely work for PC games.
I don't think educating someone on how us speedrunners pronounce a word is being condescending. Personally, I think that doing that is actually helping them in a way. Just because it isn't a word in the English Dictionary does not mean it is not slang used by speedrunners.
Reporting mods of the Rusty Lake series (https://www.speedrun.com/rustylake).
@chryoyo is the main moderator of the series and has not been online in a month. After trying to contact him on discord, he did not respond. Yes one month isn’t bad, but I’ve seen many people in the Rusty Lake discord say they have submitted runs and they still aren’t verified. (https://www.speedrun.com/user/chryoyo/info)
@Randomno is one of the other moderators, he self-proclaims that he doesn’t know much about the series itself. He doesn’t verify runs but is active on the website. (https://www.speedrun.com/user/Randomno/info)

@Barxho has not been online in two years. Enough said. (https://www.speedrun.com/user/Barxho/info)
While not part of the series moderation team, @Cauterize is also a mod for two of the Rusty Lake games. Specifically Cube Escape: The Cave (https://www.speedrun.com/cube_escape_the_cave) and Rusty Lake: Roots (https://www.speedrun.com/rusty_lake_roots). They have not been online in more than a year. (https://www.speedrun.com/user/Cauterize/info)
While it may remain up to @chryoyo to find new moderators, I think due to his inactivity it should at least be up to @Randomno since he is active.
I mean you can, but it won’t be verified
I think it should be pressing "Ok" at the first recipe in the menu. Starting from the home screen makes 0 sense and would give everyone the same amount of offset time.
Requesting that series moderator @Crystallum ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/Crystallum/info ) be replaced on the Cooking Mama ( speedrun.com/cooking_mama ) series. The game "Cooking Mama 2: Cooking With Friends" has been popularized by JaidenAnimations and there will no doubt be runs flooding into that game (which isn't yet on speedrun.com).
I'm not requesting that I become the moderator, just that someone replaces Crystallum. I cannot contact him on anything, his twitter has not been active in years and none other of his links work except for SRL, which also hasn't been active in years.
If anything, there could be a Category Extensions board for joke/other categories
When the rule was set in place (around September 2019), we wanted it so any top 3 run before that would stay, as long as they had reasonable times.
I wouldn't be able to tell if it was a splice or not, but I'm more on the splice side. That "my recording software froze" is the most bullshit, as well as the most used excuse to cover up splicing.
It's not up to me, but that's my take on it.
An autosplitter would be impossible unless you use pictures given to livesplit for splitting at the right moment. Under Roblox TOS, you cannot look into the code of the game to make outside applications.
@ShikenNuggets that worked. Thank you!
@Quivico we did that but it still makes us select the version in the dropdown menu.
When we try doing it on Baldi's Basics +, it only shows one of the versions at a time and we don't wanna switch between them.
@ThatNashi You’ll have to compile all runs. When or if I add the version, all runs will likely be deleted because they don’t have a set version variable.
@zir0nic I said I've never seen a run where Mobile is faster. I never said there wasn't one.
