The leaderboards already have so much on them. I remember originally setting up the updates and stuff - it's a nightmare. The IL table is still pretty much as it was and adding more categories would probably make it even more unreadable.
I am quitting PAYDAY 2 and hereby revoke my super moderator status. I wish you all the best of luck with runs in the future.
bye.
Guys, I've noticed a lot of people either enter a real time and a game time, or just enter only a real time. I just want to make clear that on this site we're not interested in the real time whatsoever and you're not required to time it.
I hope this might clear up some confusion if there was any.
Like with the any% and deatwish runs now, you have to report the update. So you could just see who's the fastest on a certain update. This could be an easy solution.
Sorry, I'm on vacation and I guess other mods are as well. I am often away, I'll just check quickly now.
It wasn't really verified by myself, but I had to move all the runs due to changing the categories so a lot will have my name on them now :). I'll lock this topic now.
Is it allowed and if not, why?
I got an idea today to make a YouTube channel devoted only to the site's speedruns. So you can go there and see the latest runs that people made :D. Plus it could also act as an archive incase someone's link breaks or something else. I hope you'll guys will like to see such a thing :D!
Yeah, I was thinking the same not too long ago, maybe a forum post with the week's newest PBs? Or new discoveries? Would love to hear from the other runners and mods :)!
You have convinced me Voetiem, I'll change it so you can rejoin (but only 2-4 players).
This still technically allows for teams with 4+ players. For instance, you could run in on Big Oil day 2 while using ECMs and when they run out you have a 5th player connect and put ECMs and then a 6th player... etc. So it definitely causes problems because we define co-op as 2-4 players at the moment.
EDIT: spelling
You bring up some good points, but the problem comes in where rejoining might take more time for some teams opposed to ones with better connections and that it might allow for additional players (more than 4). Nevertheless it would be interesting to see runs like this, I wonder what the other mods think.
This sounds like an amazing idea! It would definitely help with more accuracy since the in game time kind of sucks.
