That puzzle is sometimes already done as is, though I dont know the exact odds of its occurence. Sucks to be pointed like that.
Good thinking. I just felt that I was in a middle ground between PS2 and EMU, and couldnt figure out where to categorize this setup. And also, to respect other players running the game officially from the PS2 and the game disc (or disc + hdd support), I will classify any runs I make under the PS2 EMU platforming.
I run a handful of games using a softmodded phat PS2 with HDD. It can run plenty of emulators and apps just like PCSX2 would do on PC.. but still runs using the PS2 hardware. I havent truly selected PS2 choice on my own runs has it is not played the traditionnal way; either disc only or HDD support.
Hello Max and welcome. Its good to see things moving on for the better (hopefully, I seen enough!). You were pretty much absent during those previous days in times of great need and I want to believe you can lead this community for the best. A lot of subject were around the recents problems and still needs resolve. I was part of a discussion in discord servers where I wished you were there and many others, regarding new rules, solutions, etc. We do need open-minded threads and discussions where we can listen to each others. The knowledge and experience of people for the Outbreak series is certainly welcome.
most of the previous mods all left without any message and seems to have vanished. even their accounts looks like have been gone. they missed a chance to have a talk on the new discord server.
Those new rules are very sudden and understandable, but I and many others werent told before that, even when this was a discussion that you (Hurriboy) were considering, like you said in the thread. Yet some online runs were still being submitted and verified during february and before. I can only hope that this wont stir up more than what is at stake right now.
