I was wondering if it is legal to pause speedruns and continue them in a later date. For example in the prior world record on the all advancements category, GotApple played his speedrun in like 5 different sections pausing the timer and starting again the next day. Is this Legal.

shit really, cause for some of the longer and less strict runs like all advancements the old record was in like 5 different sections.

I was just wondering if during a speedrun, specifically Minecraft: Java, if you are allowed to stop the timer, leave and start it again later. Like if you run for 5 hours stop and come back the next day if thats allowed. :)
