Kansas, USAIs there any way to save data now or do I have to start from a new file everytime I open the game?
I'm a total computer noob so I don't know if I'll try that but ty.
Is the demo gone for anyone else? I opened up my game to try and play it again and all I saw was a button that said "purchase". I also saw on the Discord that they were extending the demo period by one more week as of February 28th.
If this is it for the demo then it's the best possible timing for me: I just got an amazing PB this morning that I was super happy with. Little bummed out that I won't be able to practice for when the full game comes out but I guess I'll just have to hope I don't get rusty.
Hopefully there will be some way to remove loads in autosplitter in the future. It's still early and the full game hasn't released yet so I have hope.
Also, I'm not sure if the mods have thought about this already but it should probably be added to the rules that skipping levels is banned, cause you can skip levels when playing from an existing file and some people might try to abuse that if they mess up a level and hope they don't get caught.
Personally, I think it would be fairer to make IGT the main timing method so that people with worse PCs don't have a disadvantage due to longer load times. Pause abuse can easily be moderated/banned. Plenty of PC speedrunning communities use IGT and have ways of discouraging pause abuse.
I do agree that completed file should be allowed; however, it would also be cool to have a fresh file option as a subcategory for those who would prefer it.
Dude I remember when your PB was worse than mine and now you're all the way at the top. It's been awesome to watch your progression over the last 8 months. If a break is what you want than a break is what you deserve. You've earned it.
Based on this run it doesn't look possible. Looks like Nin-Tanner played about 3-4 secs off SOB so their SOB isn't even close to 25. Vallu might have had better but his SOB was inaccurate since he split by shine.
I used to say 25 was impossible but if there's one thing I've learned from speedrunning it's never say never.
Holy shit never thought I'd see a 3x this soon. Congrats on the huge WR and good luck on whatever your next goal is. (Sub 26? Is that even possible? Maybe.)
Shame for XVenom that their main board sweep didn't last more than a day but thats just the way things go I suppose.

If you go to the Guides page up top you can find a few guides for beginner Any% routes that use relatively easy strats. If you eventually feel that you're ready to take your gameplay further there's also an advanced route tutorial.
