If you decide to do it lmk what you find. 13 is possible so at least you know you aren't doing an impossible challenge until you get it down to 13. I may post a video detailing it eventually but I've forgotten most of the strats and also I have a lot of other projects going atm so I can't get around to it. Has anyone attempted to beat Crystal Seeker with the minimum amount of jumps? I've done level 1 a couple years ago and got it down to 13 jumps for level 1. Does this sound interesting?

How many A-Presses does it take to beat Welcome To Earth (Xbox-360)?

It is much less than you probably think. I've spent 10s of hours grinding the count as low as I can get it but I need some help. I've gotten it to a point where I'm not sure it is possible to lower the count any further. If you would like some context you can watch this video on the Super Mario 64 A-Button Challenge:

Now, in case anyone reading would like to attempt this challenge completely blind I will not disclose how many A-Presses I have gotten it down to yet. I'm new to Speedrun.com and I am not sure if there is a private messaging system or what not, if there is you can message me and I will tell you the count directly.

I have minimally touched on A-Press counts for the other stages, however every time I do I end up forgetting how many I achieved on them; level 1 I've spent the most time on by far and have much knowledge of it in general and in how it pertains to the ABC (A-Button Challenge).

To reiterate once more, the goal is to get to level 2 after starting level 1 from a fresh file in the minimum amount of A-Presses possible. I am aware of the strategy that HoonGoons and other runners have utilized to beat the level by skipping nearly all of it, so slight restriction to make the challenge more fun, don't just skip the entire level by utilizing that secret area skip.
