In other words, staticsphere and I just used a bug to catch the stage 1 boss in an instant, so we kept the rank low, so Brenda's energy bar didn't come out green when we went to stage 2. So we obviously played with hardest difficulty.

Hardest Difficulty(Not Use Bug kill with Stage 1 Boss and Green energy bar brenda)
By the way, this video was also set to hardest difficulty and speed-run, but because I caught the stage 1 boss in an instant using a bug, I entered stage 2 with a low rank, and Brenda's energy bar is not green again.
First of all, the hardest 2 player coop speedrun record we set was rejected, so I'll explain it.
i got a objection for your decision.
before i explain this i have to write about rank system.
the rank system is auto difficulty adjuster (or it called dynamic difficulty adjustment).
it isn't shown in game screen but it keep increasing when you are not dying or complete stage.
when the rank is high the enemy hp will be increased, player hit damage will be increased.
the reason for brenda hp gauge not showing green is that
we killed stage 1 boss too fast by using bug then we meet the brenda in stage 2.
since rank system is NOT HIGHLY ENOUGH to show green hp gauge
the brenda hp gauge show yellow.
if you still can't understand what am i saying then keep dying as much as possible. then meet the brenda.
you will understand what is the rank system it is.

2.'Use' Bug kill Stage 1 boss and next stage 2 brenda energy bar(bottom video)
This game basically has a system where a 'Critical hit' will always occur the moment you hit an enemy when the last four digits of the score are as follows.
Additionally, since Jake's skill is the only one that doesn't give points even when hitting an enemy, if you hit an enemy while matching the last 4 digits of the score as above, 'critical hits' will appear 3 times in a row.
Hmm...excuse me for a moment. Apparently, the rule says "Timer ends when the character does the last hit of the final boss mask.", but for some reason, there seem to be many videos where the timer is stopped without completely processing the final boss' mask. If you're going to do this, how about rewriting the rules or adjusting the speedrunners' times?
The first place record is 23 minutes and 29 seconds, but the record shown in the video is 23 minutes and 39 seconds. It looks like you need to make a correction.
Hmm...then I get it. Maybe we should add a new 'No Autofire' to the speedrun rules for this game.
I have a question, is Autofire allowed or forbidden?
I don't understand the rules well, but the first level must start with an ice planet unconditionally?
Indeed, no matter how much there were no rules, it was difficult for speed runners to understand the rules. There has to be some new rule.
