There is collision with other cars and drafting in public matches. These are things that can't be done in a solo private game.

You can use a utility like this to auto split on the start and for each lap even though the game has easy anti cheat. Since it’s image based the time isn’t perfect but in my experience it gets within about 50ms of being correct. https://github.com/Toufool/AutoSplit#tutorial
