Wow! I'm really glad to see this game has gotten some Any% activity in the past year. This is one of my favorite management series. I may consider doing a couple Any% runs one day.
If someone else wants to challenge for the world record on Xbox, I could see myself coming back for a WR battle.
This run was so close to being approximately a 1:36:30 IGT -- if only you had remembered to quit out and reload the game after the ending cutscene! Ouch!!
This run is not hard to beat and I will gladly take on any challengers to my world record. Come at me and let's see how fast we can take this game.
Hey! Could you set up a full game run leaderboard? Or, could you make me a moderator and I will set it up?
As of right now, it seems like most of the categories in this game require extreme luck and little skill to get a good time. The only exception is the "All Achievements" category. However, that category takes an extremely long time to complete.
I propose a medium-length category that will highlight player's skill ability while still requiring a fair bit of luck. The rules are simple: Complete 5 S-rank runs as quickly as possible.
This category is a compromise between skill, endurance, and luck. Top-tier runs will still require a great deal of good luck. However, it is probably too unfeasible to simply guess on every single neighbor and hope you miraculously guess right (as you can do with the game's current categories). The runner will also need to be quick at identifying dopplegangers, which will highlight the runner's skill.
There could be categories for 3 S-rank runs, 5 S-rank runs, or 10 S-rank runs. I think 3 leans heavier on luck-based, 5 is most balanced, and 10 leans heavier on skill / endurance.
Submitting my new personal best today so I just wanted to say it has been nice sitting next to you on the leaderboard for the past 2 years :)
