Yeah I'm sure it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but seems noticeable to me. You seem to walk up and down stairs like in Metro and Station much faster on lower fps.
One big tip is to limit framerate to 60 or under. Slopes and stairs hate high fps and make you walk at a snails pace. I would be happy to answer any questions you have as well :) GL with the runs if you decide to pick it up!
It exists in the Bioshock collections board. Here's the link: https://www.speedrun.com/bstc?h=Worlds_of_Hurt-Any&x=l_ewplk8ld-7kj7y4zk
I think people need to stop being impatient. This happens for most speedrun games. There seem to be a lot of new runners that don't really understand all that is involved. Veteran runners that stream to large audiences or WR being streamed and approved instantly is a pretty normal thing in the general speedrun community. I don't think its favoritism, it's more of why watch a WR that mods just watched live and can verify it was done legit. This "Instant" verification only happens with WR for the most part. Everyone needs to just be patient and their run will be verified soon. If you have to wait a week or two it shouldn't be a big deal. This is all for fun at the end of the day.
I would check out guides on youtube. Plenty of runners in the discord have made videos about it. There are different ways depending what hardware you are playing on as the fastest way requires you to switch to 30 FPS.
I've heard it's based on looking down and to the right while draining and looking down with a tight line to get there in time.
