Yeah, cycles were on max. I think it's definitely a floppy vs CD thing. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Appreciate it!
Yeah it's the actual flight speed I'm having issues with though. In the runs on this board, the orni's seem to fly quite fast (which I attributed to pressing the up arrow as an assumption), but for me it's pretty slow. Maybe it's just a cycles thing... I'll have to take a look
Hey all,
Am I missing something with going fast in the orni? I'm clicking that up arrow, but nothing happens. Is there something else I need to be doing? Playing on MS-DOS in English CD-ROM version with voice acting, if that helps
This game seems to run super fast on DOSBox from Steam. Any reason the runs aren't using this version?
Ohhhh that's right, I was trying to throw a save down just before getting the number and then using that just before restarting. But that didn't work. The save game number always stays the same and a restart number is always the same for the current session, if that makes sense.
Curious to hear others opinions, but I'm not opposed to starting from a start of game save
From my understanding, and memory, the number is reset every time you reopen the game. I think we're just lucky it's persistent between concurrent sessions, but as soon as you close the application, the number is lost.
Otherwise I'm all for this idea, but definitely test it out
For the sake of simplicity, I'm for the auto splitter for full runs. For IL runs, method 2 makes sense. However, it will obviously give the impression that IL runs are MUCH faster than they should be
