What's the point of having the hitless categories? Speedrun mode is already punishing enough as it is with no checkpoints in the stages, that I can't see many people, if any, being interested in doing a hitless run, and original mode is too easy compared to the main game, so I imagine most runs would be deathless anyways. I'd probably just add death count as a variable if you really want to keep track of deaths. Also, by forcing the use of speedrun mode for valid runs, you're effectively locking runners into playing on the normal difficulty with no checkpoints. There probably could be a category for story mode added, which could open up some possibilities like playing on easy/heroic or 100%

And why can you not just add a PS4 option for the game??
I've seen some talk/suggestions about adding a 'No Autobattle' category from several people. Before this can happen, someone out there needs to show enough interest in the category to route and complete a run. Until that happens, there won't be any split in the boards at this time.
Physical copies of the game exist, so getting access to the pause exploit is a non-issue.
A new update to the JP release has fixed the pause exploit. As playing the latest patch will no longer allow you to use this trick, it's probably time to make some changes to the boards. The question is: how would you all want this to be handled going forward?
For full game categories, we can:
- Keep the current state of the boards, but include new variable(s) for Pause Exploit Used/No Pause Exploit Used, Version #, and Physical/Digital copies.
- Split all categories into Pause Exploit/No Pause Exploit
For IL boards, there's already a variable for whether Pause Exploit is used, so do we want to keep things the way they are, or split the boards?

Thanks for the update. I'm guessing using a one-way file transfer from Vita to PS4, then starting a new game from PS4 would still count as NG+, despite never having played the game on PS4 before? I'm working on building up a file on Vita to transfer to PS4, then I may likely record the first run on PS4.
I played through this recently, and suggest renaming the categories, as it's kinda confusing what Any% and 'True End' is unless you look at the rules. I suggest renaming Any% to Hollow Arc, and Any% True End to either Aincrad Arc or Infinity Arc
Neptunia Shooter. Short (under 9 minutes), very forgiving compared to other shmups, and it even has a speedrun leaderboard in-game!
Easy difficulty has the same bosses as the original, but Normal/Hard has new stages/bosses that replaces old stages, so it'd need to be a separate category/game altogether. The stage select screen is also a bit different from the original and bonus stages have been taken out. There's also 2 new characters that play differently from Clint/Annie.
That being said, I did do a full 100% playthrough a while back, so I'd have times to submit for all characters/difficulties should a new board/category be made.
