I consider CP skip with pw2 as ace, but I don't really mind if the name no ace is used as a category for former any%
What I do mind is that the leaderboard separating runs from before kyfc warp with runs done afterwards I believe there should be a primary category called any% with every single PB that competed as any% at the time (from K9 to antistreak/Xample) and a new category (placed between any% and AM as a non-misc) called any% no ace or no stack underflow or no Uber-Large-skip glitches (as it's usually called on SDA), the name doesn't really matter as long as it's clearly defined in the rules.
To fill the leaderboard for this new category every relevant runs of it should be duplicated (only pbs as of August and newer ones, maybe with a threshold like only runs post duping or something)
Duplicating runs is the only way at the moment as sr.com can't have the same run show on multiple categories, it should easily doable with a get request to the API to get a json of the runs then use it to do a post request to resubmit them all in one go into the new category lignat0r or PAC or even maybe zoton could confirm this
This way the any% history of VC will be preserved (from k9-S. to Fatzke to m00n vs aceshigh vs ractrot to fill then kz vs mhmd to the current times and how much below it can get in the next years) and it will show the gwind the community as a whole did toward the speedgame through route refinement, glitch hunting and grinding consistency

order should not be changed, it's there for a reason that credits aren't the same lenght and you end the run when you reach the credits on the final game also trilogy any% is meant to be a racing category and it's much better to watch a race where the games are in order
you don't need to rebind Num4 or 6, it is mapped to the right analog stick
i only use my keyboard for F1F2F3, for switching radio (only when replay buying from a car in VC), switching cameras in VC (only if i need to do cherry popper) and if i need to hold caplocks while driving for a long time
the only key i rebinded was start to ESC to pause the game
The only advantage i can see, other than comfort and it being easier for me, is analog movement espcialy useful when running in top down view
Any% ? = best category there's also the run without dupes but with CC skip and clothes replay during CP (Ractrot's 1:21 or so) which imo is better than pre-Bastant
anyway names should/could be Any% JP Version, Any% no Instapass and Any% no Duping
people should run whatever they like and maybe a leaderboard will show up if it's popular
i didn't know that, it should be really useful (at least for a scrub like me) to complete the shoreside flamethrower rampage

I dislike the idea of All Safehouses in Vice City because the game doesn't consider them differently than the other properties, it has a stats for All Properties in the menu and it might be a better category overall if anyone care about running it
using an autosplitter to time the wait shouldn't be allowed using any manual timer (livesplit or any pc program or on you phone or just a clock or even a métronome) should be allowed
Personally i don't want autosplitter to be banned for usual purposes, as i like having consistent splits after the run and i can't even "cheat" with it because i don't even see my splits when running the game
Any% is Any% B we might make a new category for other runs but this will need to be precisely and carefully defined
no problem, can you upload the main.scm from the trilogy version of VC ? it might be the same as green pepper/japanese/mac version
any chance you can make a no-cd for the german green pepper version ?
are you using a controller ? i've had an issue like this once, the left analog stick was somehow held in up left position so tommy kept turning around if the controller was plugged in. GTA3 worked fine it was on a someone else's PC so i didn't bother find a way to fix it
